On behalf of the Rabat American School Parent-Teacher Association, it is our great pleasure to welcome you and your family to our community for the 2026–2027 school year. Whether you’re joining us for the first time or returning for another wonderful year, we are so glad you are here.

The PTA is at the heart of what makes our school special – a true partnership between parents, faculty, staff, and students working together to create an environment where every child can flourish. We believe that when families and educators come together with shared purpose, the entire community rises.

Throughout the year, the PTA sponsors a rich calendar of programs, events, and activities designed to enrich your child’s experience and bring our families closer together. There are many ways to get involved, and every contribution matters – whether you join us at an event, attend a meeting, lend your ideas, or simply stay connected. However you choose to participate, your presence enriches our community.

Being part of the PTA is a wonderful way to meet fellow families, celebrate our dedicated faculty and staff, and support our students as they grow. Each family brings its own talents, perspectives, and spirit – and it is this diversity that makes our community truly extraordinary.

Social Events & Information Sessions

These gatherings give community members a relaxed way to connect, ask questions, and learn more about life in Rabat or at Rabat American School.

Coffee Mornings
Informal and formal sessions for parents to meet, chat, and stay connected. Details are shared by email and in the weekly newsletter.

PTA’s Intro to Rabat
A guided introduction to the city for new families. Explore Rabat’s culture and history, pick up practical tips for settling in, and meet other newcomers and community members. A warm, supportive start to your time in Rabat.

Welcome Back to School Fall Picnic
A lively kickoff to the school year that brings new and returning families together for an afternoon of connection, celebration, and fun.

Culture Day
An annual PTA-hosted celebration of the school’s diverse heritage. Enjoy food, music, dance, and hands-on activities as parents, students, and staff come together to explore and celebrate the many cultures within our community.

Book Fair
A favorite event where students browse and buy books from a wide selection — a great way to spark a love of reading.

School Support Programs

The PTA works closely with faculty and students to support initiatives that build a strong, connected school community. Through this collaboration, the PTA helps foster an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued.

This includes organizing and supporting events such as Halloween celebrations, Field Day, Ramadan Ftour gatherings, and staff appreciation events. Together, these efforts boost school spirit, strengthen bonds among students, faculty, and families, and recognize the vital contributions of Rabat American School’s team.
