BILATERAL AGREEMENT
Rabat American School is a member school of the signed Moroccan-American Bilateral Agreement on American Schools in Morocco.
RAS is one of five official American schools in Morocco conforming to the signed Bilateral Agreement on February 22nd, 2013 between the Governments of the United States of America and the Kingdom of Morocco.
Rabat American School is a Moroccan non-profit association.
In accordance with the Royal Dahir dated November 15, 1958, as amended, relating to the regulation of Moroccan non-profit associations, and in accordance with the Royal Dahir n° 1.14.134 approving the above mentioned Law n° 75.13, an association is created to provide education according to American norms in Morocco. The association shall be called: Rabat American School Association.

US State Department Assisted School
The U.S. Department of State provides assistance to overseas schools through direct and indirect support programs designed to promote an American-style program. It ensures a high level of quality of education for US citizens living abroad and prioritizes American National's admissions within the school.
IB Accreditation
Rabat American School has been authorized to offer the IB Diploma Programme since June 1992.
