Step 1: Online Application & Supporting Documents

Applications to RAS are submitted online. You will be asked to create an account so that you can begin. With an account, you can complete the forms online, save and return to the forms in progress and print form history for your records. Within the online application platform, you must upload supporting documents. Please review the checklist below before you begin the online process:

  1. Student applicant photo (JPEG)
  2. Parents/Guardians photos (JPEG)
  3. Photo page of student passport (JPEG)
  4. Student birth certificate (JPEG)
  5. Two years of school report cards (compressed into one (1) PDF File)
  6. Standerdized test scores (MAP, PSAT, IGCSE, etc) – when applicable.
  7. High school transcript (for grade 10-12 applicants)
  8. Diagnostic/Psycho-Educational reports (if applicable) in order to better understand the learning needs of the student applicant.

Step 2: Application Fee Payment

To process the RAS Application for Admission, a non-refundable fee must be submitted with each application. This fee does not apply to tuition. The application fee is $400 in US Dollars or 4,000 in Moroccan Dirhams.

Step 3: Language Survey

Please complete the RAS Language Survey by clicking on the button below. The responses will be shared with the English Language Department for all applicants to determine if English language support will be needed.

Step 4: School Confidential Recommendations

Elementary School Recommendations (Pre-K – Grade 5): Please download and complete part one of the form below and submit it to the teacher to complete, sign, endorse with school stamps and send directly to the Admissions Office.

Secondary School Recommendations (Grades 6-12): Please download and submit to the Administration (Principal or Counselor), the Math Teacher and to the English Teacher the following confidential recommendations to complete, sign, endorse with school stamps and send directly to the Admissions Office:

Step 5: Review & Decision

RAS admission and grade placement will be finalized only after reviewing the complete application, school reports, confidential recommendations, application fee payment, admission assessments (if applicable), and parent/learner interviews. Each age group has specific admission assessments to help determine if the school can meet the applicant’s needs and appropriate grade or program placement. Admission decisions will be communicated by May 1st via official email. If accepted, you must confirm the offer within five working days.

Admission to RAS is initially granted for one school year, after which the student’s progress and the school’s ability to meet their needs will be reviewed.

Please refer to the following admission guidelines: RAS aims to provide an American-style education in English, primarily for students who do not have a national schooling option in Rabat. Applicants who meet the academic, behavioral, and language requirements of RAS will be admitted in the following order:

  1. Official U.S. dependents whose parents or guardians are employed by or under contract with the U.S. Government.
  2. Dependents of other U.S. Citizens.
  3. Dependents of officials employed by third country diplomatic corps, U.N., European Union or similar organizations.
  4. Dependents of other third country nationals who meet the language requirement and/or have previously been enrolled in an English-language based program.
  5. Host country nationals who have previously been enrolled in an English-language based program.
  6. Other students who have a need, and have the capacity and desire for this form of education..
